East Java Provincial Government Disburses IDR 1.9 Billion Budget For Huntara Residents Affected By Movable Land In Ponorogo
PONOROGO - The Provincial Government (Pemprov) of East Java (Jatim) has disbursed budget assistance of Rp1.9 billion for the construction of temporary shelters or temporary shelters for residents affected by the movement ground in Bekiring Village, Pulung District, Ponorogo Regency.
This was conveyed by the Head of the Ponorogo Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), Masun, after his party received confirmation of the budget allocation for the construction of shelters from the East Java Provincial Government.
"This is the second program after previously the shelter assistance was established around Pilek Village, Sawoo District," Masun said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, November 15.
Masun said the 14 shelter units were spread over a number of land locations, where the land used belonged to the Bekiring Village treasury. The widest shelter is 380 square meters, six housing units will be built, while the narrowest is 120 square meters for two houses.
"So the assistance of a value of Rp1.9 billion from the East Java Provincial Government is not only a house, but also other supporting facilities, such as road access and backscattering of land and latrine locations," he said.

In the construction of the shelter, he said, each house will receive an allocation of IDR 50 million.
This value is in accordance with the applicable regulations at the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), including the construction of a shelter located in Piluk Village, Sawoo District.
"This is a process, this week the construction of 14 shelter units has begun," said Msun.
