Director Of Finance & Strategy Of Bank DKI, Romy Wijayanto Again Wins Award As The Best CFO
JAKARTA - Bank DKI Director of Finance & Strategy, Romy Wijayanto received an award as The Best Chief Financial Officer (CFO) 2023 for the Asset Bank category of IDR 50 trillion to IDR 100 trillion as well as Best of The Best CFO in the same category.
The award was received directly at the "TOP 20 Financial Institution Awards 2023" at Jakarta on Tuesday, November 14, which is also the second award from Infobank Media Group for two consecutive years. Previously, in 2022 Romy also received an award from The Finance (Infobank Media Group) as "The Best CFO 2022".
The award received also adds to the row of individual awards that Romy received in 2023, namely as Indonesia Best CFO 2023 with Predicate: Very Good, along with 10 other Finance Directors/Chief Financial Officers (CFO) from various industries from SWA Indonesia magazine, and in February 2023, also received awards as Best Performance CFO 2023 from Warta Ekonomi magazine specifically for the success of maintaining consistency in the company's profit growth.
The Top 20 Financial Institution 2023 also presented a number of events with big cyber security themes, including keynote speaker sessions from the Chief Executive of OJK Banking Supervisory, Dian Ediana Rae with the theme Peta Jalan Pengelolaan Kendaran Cyber in the Financial Industry and sharing recommendations from the Director of Cybersecurity and Financial Password, Trade and Tourism of the National Cyber and Crypto Agency, Edit Prima with the theme Cyber Crime: Potential, Impact, and Mitigation in the Financial Industry.
The Chairman of Infobank Media Group, Eko B. Supriyanto in his speech said that the financial services sector plays an important role in economic progress, so that if there are things that have the potential to harm the financial industry, it must be properly mitigated.
"Our three big problems are low literacy and inclusion in the financial sector, low digital literacy, and low literacy regarding cyber crime. We will continue to encourage this so that literacy increases quickly so that people are educated and can use financial instruments optimally," said Eko.
The Finance held a TOP 20 Financial Institution Awards 2023 as a form of appreciation to financial institutions that managed to survive, grew very well, and grew greatly by looking at the growth in bank performance in the last three periods with financial performance starting in 2021, 2022 and 2023. Furthermore, The Finance also gave special appreciation to the elected Chief Financial Officer (CFO) figure who was considered to have made a big contribution to the company's financial performance so that the company was able to grow and be sustainable.
Of the many CFOs from various financial services companies that were considered the best by the study 'Top 20 Financial Institution 2023', The Finance also gave appreciation as a limited 'Top CFO Version of The Finance 2023' to 41 selected CFO people. In determining the CFO included in the Top CFO 2023 list which was then grouped based on the industrial sector and the company's size.

In terms of financial management at Bank DKI, Romy together with the Management Team have compiled a roadmap as a strategy to achieve a sustainable financial performance vision, focusing on 7 main strategies, namely increasing retability, maintaining liquidity and capital at a safe level, optimizing existing businesses, preparing banks to achieve new business opportunities, encouraging the creation of a business ecosystem, and preparing competent human resources to support business performance. He added that Bank DKI's performance, which grew over the past three years, could not be separated from the implementation of the 5.0 Transformation Program which has been carried out since 2021.
For information, in the third quarter of 2023, Bank DKI managed to record a positive performance. As of September 2023, Bank DKI's lending grew 6.90 percent to Rp49.96 trillion, from the previous Rp46.73 trillion in September 2022.

For this effort, Bank DKI also managed to raise Third Party Fund growth to Rp63.66 trillion in September 2023, or grew by 4.45 percent from the previous Rp60.94 trillion in September 2022. Thus, these various business growths boosted total assets growth of 3.99 percent from Rp75.24 trillion as of September 2022, to Rp78.24 trillion as of September 2023, as they posted a profit of Rp693.27 billion in the same period.
