At APEC, Sri Mulyani Calls The Global Economy More Complex
JAKARTA - Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani Indrawati also attended the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) agenda in a series of Finance Ministers Meeting agendas as representatives of Indonesia. During the meeting, 21 Ministers of Finance of APEC member countries were also present on the agenda.
On this occasion, Sri Mulyani conveyed several things, especially regarding a series of increasingly complex global economic challenges.

Sri Mulyani also said that the issuance of policies related to the issue of climate change needs to be responded to globally so that it can be mitigated together and become a potential source of growth.
Meanwhile, massive financing needs have the potential to put great pressure on the market and lead to increased pressure related to financing in developing countries, including Indonesia.
Facing all these global dynamics, Sri Mulyani also said that welcoming mature and wise fiscal policies is very important. In addition, times full of challenges like this are the right time to carry out various structural reforms.
