Solihun Strong Criticism Of Walt Disney Donations For Israel
JAKARTA - Komika Soleh Solihun criticized Walt Disney's decision to donate to Israel in the midst of a conflict with Palestine. Through Twitter or X, Soleh Solihun re-uploaded a post about Walt Disney's donation to Israel worth 2 million dollars or equivalent to Rp. 31 billion.
According to Soleh Solihun, what Walt Disney did is contrary to the work they have released so far, which is to entertain children. According to him, Walt Disney's actions are a shame, especially when highlighting the large number of child casualties in Palestine due to the conflict with Israel.
"100 years of making works to entertain children, now even giving assistance to countries that kill children. Shame on you Disney," wrote Soleh Solihun.
Walt Disney donated to Israel because he considered the country a victim of the attack. Following the deadly Hamas terrorist attack in Israel, The Walt Disney Company donated $2 million to organizations providing humanitarian assistance in the region, Walt Disney statement.
