Nothing Is Impossible, Conor McGregor Opens Opportunities To Face Jake Paul In MMA
JAKARTA Former UFC star Conor McGregor opens the opportunity to face the famous YouTuber, Jake Paul. The fight will be held in MMA format, not boxing.
Three years ago, Paul, who was in charge of boxing, challenged McGregor to fight in MMA format. However, the challenge of YouTubers from the United States was rejected by McGregor's manager, Audi Attar for no apparent reason.
But this time Attar thought differently, after McGregor stated that he would return to his cage and fight as he was when he was still victorious.
"I think everything is possible. Never say no. It all depends on the way we set it up," said Athar as quoted by Fox News.
The first thing that must be done is the affirmation that it will return to the octagon. After that, the business problem will be taken care of," said Attar again.
McGregor (35) has been absent from the MMA fight for more than two years. Finally, he faced Dustin Poirier in Las Vegas on July 10, 2021. In the duel at the UFC 264 event, McGregor lost to TKO round 1, because his leg was broken so the referee had to stop the match.
Meanwhile, Paul, 26, will make his MMA debut in Florida on December 15. He has just signed a contract with the Professional Fighters League (PFL), which will be a tough UFC competitor in the MMA business.
