Honda Officially Brings CBR600RR Back To The European Market With Various Improvements

JAKARTA - Honda CBR600RR is Honda's mainstay medium-class sports motorcycle which will be marketed globally starting in 2013 as a racing replica from the CBR600F series.

However, for the European market, this 599 cc engine capacity is no longer marketed from 2016. Most recently, Honda wants to bring this motorbike back to Europe for the upcoming 2024 model.

At the current EICMA 2023 event, Honda announced the launch of the latest CBR600RR supersport motorcycle. One of the differences from this bike is the change of engine, display, and addition of advanced electronic features and aerodynamics inspired by MotoGP.

Quoted from the official website of Honda Global, Thursday, November 8, the presence of this one motorcycle is aimed at reviving competition for the middle class super sport category in Europe.

The latest CBR600RR is powered by machines significantly enhanced from previously to generate a peak power of 119 hp at 14,250 rpm and a torque of 63 Nm at 11,500. rpm.

Meanwhile, the twin-spar aluminum chassis package provides solid stability even though the weight of the motorbike reaches 193 kg. The CBR600RR also has an upside down Showa 41mm front suspension, plus a back braker Showa, both tunable, and fairing with a winglet inspired by MotoGP.

Not only that, there are also five driving modes equipped with Honda Selectable Control Torsion (HSTC), Wheelie Control, and Rear Lift Control for a more controlled driving experience.

The CBR600RR is equipped with a clipper cluster and quickshifter as the standard, and is reinforced by advanced electronic systems inspired by the Honda RC213V-S superbike and CBR1000RR-R Fireblade from MotoGP.

In addition, there are optional options such as rear seat sarongs, foot pads, heat handles, racing exhausts, and increased suspensions to meet the needs of individual users.

For color choices, the same as all motors in Honda supersport families, the latest CBR600RR will be available in three HRC Red HRC Grand Prix colors and Matt Ballistic Black Metallic.
