JAKARTA - Vivo has just introduced APEX 2020, which is the third generation of the latest smartphone prototype from a manufacturer from Dongguan, China. This series is said to feature a breakthrough in the visuals of future gadgets.

Launching Slashgear, APEX 2020 carries a 120 FullView Edgeless screen design, this feature makes APEX 2020 have a 120 degree curved screen on both sides. It also removes the edges of the side bezels and results in a bezel-less view when viewed from the front.

This update also has the screen stitching and frames moved backwards, creating a great screen feel. APEX 2020 also replaces physical buttons with virtual pressure sensor buttons for better aesthetics.

The APEX 2020 camera sector features a 16 megapixel front camera embedded on the screen with a four in one super-pixel sensitive photo chip. This chip is capable of making the camera able to capture more detailed images.

Meanwhile, the rear camera of the APEX 2020 is equipped with 5x-7.5 continuous optical zoom, where the camera can continuously zoom with high-quality resolution. The APEX 2020 rear camera also has a unique design, with a stylish circular shape, equipped with a parallel camera sensor.

Likewise, the main camera is also equipped with Gimbal-Stabilizing technology. This technology can make the camera more stable in taking photos and videos.

Of course this concept is suitable for smartphones for vloggers. Vivo says the gimbal system is better at providing stability to the camera lens than Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). Gimbal-Stabilizing is also effective in supporting night photography needs.

Another technology embedded in the Vivo APEX 2020 is the Vivo Wireless Super FlashCharge, which can recharge a 2,000 mAh battery in just 20 minutes.

This prototype is rumored to be equipped with a 6.45-inch screen with a resolution of 2330 x 1060. 12GB of RAM storage and 256GB of internal memory combined with a Snapdragon 856 processor are also supported by the 5G network.
