Head Of Kapuas Hulu Fisheries Office Is Checked By Police For Alleged Corruption In Arwana Procurement, Claims 50 Percent Cut Of Budget
JAKARTA - Head of the Kapuas Hulu Fisheries Service, West Kalimantan (West Kalimantan) Roni Januardi, admitted that he had received a summons from the police to ask for information on the alleged corruption (Tipikor) procurement of Arwana fish in the area.
"I have received a letter for questioning by the Kapuas Hulu Police and I am ready to come," said Roni Januardi when met in Putussibau, the capital of Kapuas Hulu Regency, as reported by Antara, Thursday, February 11.
Roni said, the total budget for fish cultivation is Rp. 2.6 billion, while the budget for the procurement of arowana fish is Rp1.13 billion.
According to him, initially for the procurement of fish cultivation amounting to IDR 4.5 billion, but because there is a 50 percent discount regulation in order to tackle the COVID-19 outbreak, the realized budget is only more than IDR 2.6 billion.
"For the procurement of Arwana fish according to the DPA amounted to Rp1.16 billion, but what was realized was Rp1.13 billion which was divided into 18 work implementation packages," said Roni.
Roni said that he was not clear about the technical implementation of procurement, but internally there was already a supervisory team.
"We have a supervisory team and I don't know about the technical specifications and distribution of the recipient community groups, which is clear in Kapuas Hulu," said Roni.
With this problem, Roni admitted that he completely left it to the legal process. "Like it or not, like it or not, we have to follow the process and respect the law because this is still an allegation," said Roni.
