The Regent Asks For Disdik To Handle Sukabumi Bantargebang Elementary School Students Still Studying In Tents
Regent of Sukabumi Marwan Hamami instructed the Sukabumi Education Office (Disdik) to immediately handle dozens of students at SDN Bantargebang who carry out teaching and learning activities (KBM) in tents, because classrooms are damaged and unfit for use.
"We have received information regarding students from SDN Bantargebang who are forced to carry out KBM in a tent. I have assigned the Disdik to immediately resolve this problem so that students can return to their comfortable studies," he said in Sukabumi, Tuesday, October 31, which was confiscated by Antara.
Marwan said that his party had asked Disdik to prioritize the construction of the Bantargebang SDN classroom. From the results of data collection and investigations, in the 2024 budget, the construction of SDN Bantargebang is a priority.
In addition, there are several factors that have caused the elementary school to never receive rehabilitation or repair, because from the Disdik report, the land above the SDN building is unstable.
It is hoped that the construction can be carried out at the beginning of the year. Marwan gave instructions to each service to focus on solving the problem of building construction that was damaged.
"All agencies must focus on resolving damaged buildings, not distributing development, so that problems or problems like this don't go away. This is an official disease that is already chronic," he added.

Marwan said that every service must be able to prioritize which are priorities and not, if only the development is distributed, it is certain that the development issue will not end.
Previously, dozens of students in grades III and VI of SDN Bantargebang were forced to study in emergency tents, as a result of damaged classrooms and anticipating unwanted things, because some time ago a student was hit by the asbestos from the damaged classroom.
