Mastodon Presents List Features To Android Apps, IOS Following
JAKARTA - Mastodon is rolling out a new feature into its app on Android, which allows users to create a special list and categorize your followers based on certain topics or interests.
"The latest update from Mastodon to Android introduces a highly anticipated list of features," the company wrote in an announcement on its official website quoted Tuesday, October 31.
Previously, Mastodon users could only access the List (List) feature via the web, making it very difficult to follow the topic in the same way you can do on X via cellphone.
Mastodon is also a little more complicated on the web, as you can only add and remove people from the list, either by editing the list itself or from their user profiles.
But, with this update, Mastodon hopes users can engage with certain topics, and it is also easier to find topics from users you are interested in.
"This not only helps in declaring your home feed but also allows you to engage with certain topics on your own terms, when you are ready," the company explained further.

Lastly, the company mentions that they have more updates, aiming to make Mastodon the most beautiful and fun social media app on Android
Updates for iOS are expected to follow in the future, although the company is not committed to exactly when this update will not be. "Our iOS and web teams are also working steadily on new features and upgrades," the announcement concluded.
