The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has confirmed that it is cooperative regarding the investigation into the alleged extortion by the KPK leadership against former Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Syahrul Yasin Limpo who is being investigated by the Polda Metro Jaya. The proof is that the KPK has submitted the documents requested by investigators.
"KPK also some time ago submitted the documents requested by Polda Metro Jaya investigators," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters in a written statement, Thursday, October 26.
However, Ali did not want to specify the document. In essence, everything submitted was related to the alleged extortion.
"The document requested by the investigating case is so that it is not us who can explain that matter," he said.
In addition, this cooperative attitude was also shown by the presence of KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri to be examined as a witness on Tuesday, October 24. Ali emphasized that all information had been submitted before investigators.
"Similarly, several other KPK personnel who also cooperatively fulfill the investigator's summons for questioning and investigation," he said.
