Bali Immigration Deports Chinese Citizens With Fugitive Status
DENPASAR - Bali Immigration deported a man with the initials WY (40) a Chinese citizen who is a fugitive.
"Foreigners who have been deported will be put on the deterrence list to the Directorate General of Immigration," said Head of the Bali Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) Romi Yudianto, Wednesday, October 25.
This Chinese citizen was initially known to be in Jakarta. He became a fugitive in a case of providing health products that did not meet the standards in Indonesia.
WY was then jailed with a sentence of 1.5 years. After being released, WY was transferred to the Denpasar Rudenim on May 11.
WY has problems in his country because of falsification of personal data while living in China. Deportation from Bali was also carried out.

"According to Article 102 of the Law, Number 6 of 2011 concerning immigration, deterrence can be carried out no later than six months and each time it can be extended for a maximum of six months and in addition, life imprisonment can also be imposed on foreigners who are considered to be able to interfere with security and public order. However, a further deterrence decision will be decided by the Directorate General of Immigration by looking at and considering all of his cases," said Romi.
