BRI Gives Promo For Riding Fast Train

JAKARTA - The government officially opened the sale of tickets for the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed train or the name 'Whoosh' to the public on October 18, 2023.

BRI confirmed to be a provider of the fast train ticket purchase service.

The public can order tickets on the hajesh application or kcic.co.id website by selecting BRI payments and then using the BRImo super app to complete the transaction.

BRI Director of Networks and Services Andrijanto revealed that in the near future bookings for tickets as well as payments will be directly made in the BRImo Super App, thus providing convenience for the general public in using public transportation.

"BRI always innovates to answer the needs of the community, especially BRI customers, so that later messages to pay do not need to change applications, but only through the BRImo Super App," said Andrijanto in a written statement, quoted on Saturday, October 21.

Andrijanto said that the public's interest in trying out the high 'Whoosh' fast train was high, considering that this is an option for public transportation modes to and from Bandung.

He added that BRI seeks to build a transaction ecosystem to provide optimal services for its customers.

"Of course we ensure other supporting ecosystems such as cashless services for parking payments, increasing merchant partners around tourist stations and strategic locations. This will make it easier for customers when traveling to only use BRImo or BRI Debit Cards in transactions, and look forward to various attractive promos from BRI programs," he said.

KCIC also provides promo rates for the premium economy class Railroad worth IDR 150,000 with the Halim-Padalarang, Halim-, Tegalluar, and vice versa routes. The promo is valid for departure from October 18 to November 30, 2023.

Complementing the fast train promo, BRI provides 10 percent direct cashback for transactions using QRIS in the BRImo application, adding points for every BRImo financial transaction that can be exchanged for vouchers to lottery prizes for electric cars in the BRImo FSTVL program.
