Gibran Reportedly Leaves For Jakarta Ahead Of Rapimnas Golkar
Surakarta Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka reportedly left for Jakarta, ahead of the Golkar Party Leadership Meeting (Rapimnas) which will be held on Saturday (21/10).
When confirmed in this regard, the chairman of the Gerindra DPC Solo, Ardianto Kuswinarno, laughed. However, he confirmed the news.
"This is Mas Wali (Gibran, red) to Jakarta right. I myself do not know what activities, I am in Surabaya," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, October 20.
Regarding communication with Gibran, Ardianto admitted that he last met at a plenary meeting at the Surakarta City DPRD Office on Thursday (19/10).
"I didn't communicate, yesterday I met at the plenary session, I kept chatting for a while. It's not about parties, about the construction of mosques," he said.
Meanwhile, when asked about Gibran's certainty that he would accompany Prabowo Subianto as vice presidential candidate in the 2024 General Election, Ardianto said that until now the Surakarta City Gerindra Party DPC is still compactly proposing Gibran.
"Until now, as the chairman of the Solo DPC, I still propose to go to the center, Mas Gibran is Pak Prabowo's companion. (If later, Red.) Finally, who appeared, I also don't know, we are still adamant about young people who must be accommodated," he said.
In fact, he said, the Central Java Gerindra Party DPD also proposed the same name to accompany Prabowo.
"The DPD meeting all proposed Mas Gibran to be your deputy," he said.

Previously, information circulated that Gibran traveled to Jakarta on Friday afternoon by using a Batik Air plane through Ahmad Yani Airport, Semarang.
Gibran was widely involved in the Golkar Party through the membership of the Indonesian Renewal Youth Force (AMPI) which is a community organization under the Golkar Party. As is known, the Golkar Party will become one of Prabowo's supporting parties in the presidential election contestation next year.
