Palestine Calls 3,300 Dead And 13,000 Injured In Gaza

JAKARTA - Palestinian Health Minister Mai al-Kaila said as many as 3,300 people had died and more than 13,000 people were injured as a result of the Israeli attack on the Gaza Strip which took place since October 7, 2023.

As reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, October 18, at a press conference in Ramallah, al-Kaila said that the figure was still approximated because of the severe situation in the Gaza Strip which Israel was constantly bombing.

"The reduced supply of water and damage to the waste disposal system also increase the risk of spreading infectious diseases," he continued.

al-Kaila strongly condemned Israeli airstrikes at the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital on Tuesday (17/10) and stated that hundreds of people had lost their lives as a result of Israeli bombings.

We affirm that Israel was involved in the massacre of Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital and they will not be able to escape from the hospital bombing. We demand accountability, "said al-Kaila.

The attack reportedly killed more than 500 Palestinians.
