Not Invited To Come, Gibran Admits Only Watching The Announcement Of Ganjar's Vice Presidential Candidate
Solo Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka, who failed to meet with PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto, said that he was not invited to the declaration and chose to monitor it online. In the declaration, PDIP General Chair (Ketum) Megawati Soekarnoputri officially announced Mahfud MD as a candidate to accompany Ganjar Pranowo in the 2024 presidential election at the PDIP DPP office, Jakarta, Wednesday 18 October. "No (invited to declare), just watch it. It's not finished, Mr. Hasto, Mr. Arsjad. It's not today because there is a declaration," said Gibran.

As previously reported, Gibran canceled his flight to Jakarta to meet the PDIP DPP management, Wednesday, October 18, because there was a vice presidential declaration that would accompany Ganjar Pranowo in the 2024 presidential election. Originally, President Jokowi's eldest son would indeed go to Jakarta to meet with PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto to report several things, including the decision of the Constitutional Court (MK) which granted the additional claim that he had been a regional head who could register as a presidential and vice presidential candidate even though he was not yet 40 years old.
