BLBI Task Force Confiscates 85.84 Hectares Of Land Assets In Cikupa Banten
The Task Force for Handling State Collection Rights for the Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance Fund (BLBI Task Force) has again carried out activities to confiscate land assets of obligators or debtors by carrying out physical control in the form of installing signs on property assets of the former National Bank Restructuring Agency (BPPN).
Meanwhile, the assets confiscated this time were in the form of land with an area of 85.84 hectares (ha) located in Bojong Village and Budi Mulya Village, Cikupa District, Tangerang Regency, Banten. With an estimated value of Rp. 171,681,600,000 or Rp. 171.681 billion (based on the Value of Selling Tax Objects or NJOP Tanah).
Head of the BLBI Task Force Rionald Silaban said the assets came from Secured Goods Taken Over (BJDA), a former debtor of PT Pentabbinangun Sejahtera/ex-Credtur PT Bank Indonesia Raya (Bank Bira Tbk) BBKU.
"Currently, it is a state asset managed by the Ministry of Finance, under the Directorate General of State Assets (DJKN), and is a priority for handling by the BLBI Task Force," he explained, quoted from a press release, Tuesday, October 17, 2023.
Rionald said the BLBI task force was formed by Presidential Decree Number 6 of 2021 in conjunction with Presidential Decree Number 16 of 2021.
Meanwhile, the BLBI task force has carried out a series of strategies, programs, and activities to return collection rights to the state by collecting obligors or debtors and handling property assets which are carried out in stages and measurably.

One of the efforts to handle property assets carried out is physical control of land and building assets. Through the installation of security signs, it aims to resolve and restore state rights from BLBI funds by the BLBI Task Force.
On the other hand, the physical control of ex-BPPN property assets or former BLBI was carried out by the BLBI Task Force Team together with several parties such as the Banten DJKN Regional Office, Tangerang II State Property and Auction Service Office (KPKNL), and accompanied by security from the BLBI Bareskrim Polri Gakkum Task Force Team.
"Against the assets that have been physically controlled, management optimization will then be carried out in accordance with applicable regulations," Rionald wrote. For the next stage, the BLBI Task Force has planned acts of physical control over property assets spread across various cities/regencies in Indonesia.," he said.
