Entering Indonesia Via 'Tikus Street' In West Kalimantan, 2 Malaysians Bring Methamphetamine Arrested
The Border Security Task Force (Satgas Pamtas) from the Medan Artillery Battalion (YoNarmed) 16/Tumbak Kaputing arrested two Malaysian citizens. Both were arrested for carrying 10 grams of methamphetamine while in the Indonesia-Malaysia border area in West Kalimantan (West Kalimantan).
"This arrest was made last night, Sunday (October 15) at around 22.15 WIB when TNI soldiers patrolled around the Indonesia-Malaysia border in the area around Jagoi Babang," said the Commander of the Indonesian-Malaysia Pamtas Task Force (Dansatgas) Yonarmed 16/TK Major Arm Andreas Prabowo Putro at Mako Kotis Entikong, Monday, October 16, confiscated by Antara.
He explained that the two Malaysian foreigners were arrested while in Indonesian territory, precisely on Jalan Bukit Jagoi Indah in Jagoi Village, Jagoi Babang District, Bengkayang Regency, West Kalimantan.
Major Andreas said the Sentabeng Post led by Sertu Zian Nugraha ordered Wadanpos Serda Angga, along with three members, namely Kopda Satriaji, Kopda Edi and Pratu Miftahul Huda to arrest the perpetrators while carrying out rat road patrols in the Jagoi Babang area.
"It happened at around 22.15 WIB where the patrol team saw two perpetrators moving from Malaysia towards the Indonesia-Malaysia border area. Then the patrol team immediately went to them and secured the two people," he said.

According to him, the two foreigners from Malaysia are suspected of entering Indonesian territory illegally. After an examination, the person concerned brought a plastic package suspected of being drugs, then there was a suction device, money and several other documents.
For further processing, the activity has been reported to the top commander hierarchically.
"For further processing, the perpetrators and evidence are handed over to the authorities according to the instructions of the upper command for further handling and data collection and examination," he said.
