Wuling Air EV And Other Electric Cars Can Now Be Hired Through This Application

JAKARTA - Adhya Group, a company engaged in property and service, officially introduced a software-based application for electric vehicle rental (EV) named EMOVE.

The launch of this application was not carried out without reason. Adhya Group sees that demand and growth of electric vehicles (EVs) in Indonesia are increasing. In addition, support from the Indonesian government in the form of tax incentives has made this step easier, making the EV segment more attractive to the public.

"We are developing software that can be integrated into vehicles and connected to servers, so that vehicles can be operated through an application. Many people call it the Internet of Things (IoT)," said Ricky Wijaya, CEO of Adhya Group, during a media conference session in Jakarta, Tuesday, October 10.

This application service is expected to facilitate the mobility of Indonesian people in carrying out their daily activities. Through EMOVE, people can easily rent electric vehicles with the various conveniences offered.

Currently, the new EMOVE provides the Wuling Air EV as a choice of electric vehicles to rent, which can accompany users in their daily activities. However, they have confirmed that in the future, the EMOVE will add Neta V and Hyundai Ioniq 5 to a selection of leaseable vehicles.

Hari Dinata, VP Retail & Ecommerce Adhya Group, explained, "We provide Wuling Air EV as a rental electric vehicle option for use in urban areas. As for Neta, it is still not available because the company has not sold en masse, and Hyundai Ioniq 5 is still in the research process."

EMOVE offers a very affordable rental price, starting from IDR 40,000, with a wide selection of rental durations. Users can choose rental times per hour or per day, according to their needs.

Adhya Group has a target to provide up to 500 units of environmentally friendly vehicles, such as electric cars, electric motors, electric bicycles, and electric vehicle charging stations (SPKLU) until 2025. This service is currently available in the first phase in the Jakarta, Bali, and Bandung areas.

The launch of the EMOVE application has been held at Yen Signature, Senopati, Jakarta, marking Adhya Group's important step in supporting sustainable and environmentally friendly mobility in Indonesia.
