Breaking Into An Empty House In East Kalimantan, Youth Is Threatened With 7 Years In Prison

PPU - Perpetrators of theft and burglary of empty houses in Sungai Parit Village, Penajam District, North Penajam Paser Regency (PPU), East Kalimantan (Kaltim), face a maximum sentence of seven years in prison.

Suspect Y was named a suspect after the PPU Police conducted a case title, collected statements from victims and perpetrators, including confiscation of evidence. Dian said the police arrested perpetrator Y after developing the report of the owner of the house in early October 2 023.

"The front and side of the victim's house was empty and was broken into or damaged by the perpetrator," he said.

The PPU Police, he continued, found evidence of a tablet computer while searching the boarding house of the perpetrator. From the results of the investigation, the perpetrator admitted to hiding other stolen items in an empty house not far from the perpetrator's boarding house.
