The Prosecutor's Office Becomes The Most Interested Institution For CASN 2023
JAKARTA - The Prosecutor's Office is the institution of law enforcement agencies most interested in the registrant of the 2023 State Civil Apparatus Candidate Selection (CASN).
Based on data from the State Civil Service Agency (BKN), at 12.00 WIB, Wednesday, October 4, the number of applicants submitted to the Indonesian Prosecutor's Office was 42,337 people. This figure increased from the data on October 3, 2023 as many as 30,061 people.
As reported by ANTARA, the number of applicants who submit to the prosecutor's office is equivalent to 20.2 percent of the total submit applicants or who have completed all stages of CASN registration.
In this year's recruitment, the prosecutor's office opened 7,846 formations for applicants who graduated from S-1, D-3, and SMA with an age range of 18 to 35 years. The details are 2,000 formations for prosecutors, 1,446 formations for evidence officers, 2,142 formations for case management, and 2,258 formations for prison guards.
Two other institutions that are also targeted by job seekers are the Ministry of Law and Human Rights and the Secretariat General of the Corruption Eradication Commission. As of October 3, the total number of CASN registrants has reached 715,925 people with submit applicants as many as 149,062 people.

Previously, the Indonesian Political Indicators survey institute reported the survey results that the Prosecutor's Office had succeeded in maintaining the title as the law enforcement agency most trusted by the public. The level of public trust in the prosecutor's office reached 76 percent. The survey was held from August 25 to September 3, 2023.
"There are 76 percent of respondents who believe in the work of the Attorney General's Office in law enforcement," said Main Researcher for Indonesian Political Indicators Rizka Halida.
Responding to the survey results, Attorney General S.T. Burhanuddin asked all levels of the Indonesian Attorney General's Office to improve performance achievements and strengthen the level of public trust in the prosecutor's office.
"Keeping something that has been achieved is much more difficult than just achieving it. To maintain this achievement requires strong consistency and commitment from all ranks," said Burhanuddin.
