2 Meter Long Python Secured From Residents' House Waterways
LAMPUNG - Fire and Rescue Service (Damkarmat) officers of South Lampung Regency evacuated a python from one of the houses of a resident of Way Urang Village, Kalianda District, South Lampung Regency, Lampung Province, Sunday, October 1
Head of the Fire Department of the South Lampung Damkarmat Service, Rully Fikriansyah, in Kalianda, confirmed that his party had evacuated pythons from residents' homes, precisely in the waterways.
"We have succeeded in evacuating the python from the residence of Mr. Dian Hariadi, on Jalan Raden Intan, Kalianda District, South Lampung Regency," he said.
He explained that the chronology of the incident began when a resident called the call center of the fire department post and rescued the Kalianda Command Post to ask for help evacuating pythons.
Then members of the Kalianda Command Post responded and prepared equipment and headed to the location at 06.30 WIB and arrived at the location at 06.34 WIB.

"Arriving at the location, the members immediately evacuated the python at Mr. Dian Hariadi's residence and finished at 06.50 WIB," he said.
After the python was secured, officers took and released the snake to a place far from residential areas.
Ruly appealed to residents to immediately report to the Fire Station if they found a python or other similar things that could endanger residents in the neighborhood.
"Our officers have expertise and are ready to help evacuate venomous animals, such as snakes. Residents should not evacuate themselves, because they are very dangerous and can even threaten their lives," he said.
