Called Kaesang By Mothers During The PDIP IV National Working Meeting, Gibran: Different Parties, Ma'am
JAKARTA - The eldest son of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), Gibran Rakabuming Raka attended the PDI Perjuangan Rakernas IV (PDIP) at JIExpo Kemayoran, today, Saturday, September 30.
From observations at the location, Gibran was seen around the JIExpo C1 Hall and his presence was greeted by cadres. They seemed enthusiastic about taking pictures with the Mayor of Solo.
This enthusiasm resulted in a funny moment when a mother wearing a PDIP red shirt wanted to take a photo with Gibran. However, he made the wrong call and called him Kaesang Pangarep who is his younger brother.
"Mas Kaesang," said the mothers.
Hearing this, Gibran, who had just filled out the registration for the presence of Rakernas IV PDIP, smiled holding back laughter.
"Kaesang has a different party, ma'am," he said, greeted by laughter from people around the registration place.

Even though he had the wrong call, Gibran still served the mother's request to take a photo together. He then rushed into the Rakernas IV area to listen to closed directions.
For information, Kaesang, who is Gibran's younger brother, became the General Chair of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI). This position was occupied when he had only been a cadre of the party bearing the rose symbol for three days.
Meanwhile, Gibran is a PDIP cadre. He followed in the footsteps of President Jokowi and his brother-in-law, Bobby Nasution, who now serves as Mayor of Medan.
