Towards The Wedding Date, The Film Please Pray For The Release Of The Latest Trailer

JAKARTA - The production house of Screenplay Films, Ifi Sinema and Rapi Films has just released their latest trailer film entitled 'Please Pray for Restu.' This family comedy drama themed film was directed by Ody Harahap and the screenplay was written by Yayu Yuliani and Cassandra P. Cameron. Please pray for Restu' features the duo of young actors Jefri Nichol and Syifa Hadju. As well as two actresses with high flight hours, Cut Mini and Sarah Sechan.

Since the initial instructions for this film emerged, great fanfare has been created on social media. When Jefri and Syifa both uploaded a photo with a blue background that was identical to the photo of the person who would register for the wedding at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA).

In the first look film, it has also been shown how the love story between Satya (Jefri Nichol) and Mel (Syifa Hadju) who are preparing for the wedding must be intervened from their mothers, Cut Mini and Sarah Sechan. In the latest trailer, Satya is shown to be a very obedient figure. He agreed with all his mother's wishes (Sarah Sechan) to make Mel worried about his wedding plans with Satya.

Director Ody Harahap revealed that the wedding process is so distinctive of Indonesian culture. Uniting two families with different backgrounds and cultures, according to him, will be very close to Indonesian audiences. Dramas before weddings are often found. That's what Ody wants to bring up in the film 'Please Pray for Blessing.'

"The business of marriage is a big thing that always causes chaos. And that's really Indonesia. With a variety of cultures, uniting two families is certainly not an easy thing," said Ody in a media statement received by VOI, Wednesday, September 27.

The film 'Please Pray for Blessing' tells the story of Mel (Syifa Hadju) & Satya (Jefri Nichol). Mel & Satya's love is here because she is used to it. Especially because their mothers, Widi and Ira, are close friends. So, when their two children were about to get married, this was a perfect closure of friendship.

Their old age will not be lonely. Of course, it will plan the wedding of four of them. But three months before the wedding, Mel suddenly had new anxiety: is he really happy? Including whether he really wants Satya in his future?
