PSI Chairman Kaesang Plans To Visit President Jokowi
JAKARTA - Kaesang Pangarep chaired the inaugural meeting after being appointed as chairman of the Indonesian Solidarity Party or PSI, Tuesday, September 26. During the meeting, Kaesang introduced himself to PSI administrators.
After the meeting, Kaesang revealed, he had a lot of homework to do. However, Kaesang was reluctant to describe the homework in question.
"There are a lot of homework, then yes, there are still a lot of homework," said Kaesang.
After becoming PSI General Chair, Kaesang will start visiting other political parties to stay in touch, including sowan to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). Until now, Kaesang admitted that he had only just met the Chairman of Perindo Hary Tanoesodibjo. It happened by chance.
"Incidentally, I met Pak Hary Tanoe. I had asked for his time from PSI sowan to Perindo, I happened to shoot him at his place," said Kaesang.

Regarding the strategy ahead of the 2024 General Election, Kaesang admitted that PSI was open and opened the door for anyone who wanted to join. When asked about the new breakthrough he would do, Kaesang only responded casually.
"I have emphasized to PSI, this election we are in politics happily, casually, and politely. PSI is open to anyone, we are working together, ready to collaborate, as long as they win each other," he said.
