Democrat Coup Issue, Dewi Tanjung: Old Tricks Follow Her Father's Pattern
JAKARTA - PDI-P politician Dewi Tanjung responded to the allegation of a coup within the Democratic Party that was conveyed by the General Chairperson of the Democratic Party Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY).
According to him, the accusation conveyed by the son of the 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) is an old trick and is used to gain community empathy. Because, this has also been done during the 2004 presidential election.
"This could be a setting to raise his name AHY. This pattern was used in 2004 with SBY when he clashed with Bu Mega. He used the way of being wronged. The same as now, he is using that method again," he said on his Twitter, @ Dtanjung15, seen on Saturday, February 6.
Not only that, Dewi also considered, this method could actually be a game from the internal party bearing the Mercy Star symbol. "Those who are scattered are as if they were wronged. Like their father. His father always feels wronged even though we know how SBY is," he said.
"Hopefully AHY is smarter, smarter, yes," he added.
Furthermore, Dewi also said that AHY was still green in the political world so that he could not distinguish between a coup and chaos. This is because his father, SBY, forces his son to become a party leader even though he is experienced.
So, he considered, AHY should learn more in the future.
"SBY is imposing his will, forcing his raw son to become chairman of the party. In the end, what a blunder. The blunder is that he cannot distinguish between a coup and chaos. What is happening (currently, red) is chaotic," he said .
As previously reported, the Chairman of the Democratic Party, AHY, said that there were efforts from a number of parties who wanted to overthrow (the coup) from the party chair.
AHY said that the political movement had the support of President Jokowi's government officials. Later the Democrat cadre called this figure Moeldoko.
AHY also sent a letter to President Jokowi regarding the alleged coup.
In this regard, last Monday, February 3, Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko stated that although he had met a number of cadres and former high-ranking Democrats, he never intended to carry out a coup within the Democratic party.
"I'm an outsider, I don't have any rights, they have rights inside. What's the deal? Nothing, 'wong' I'm an outsider," said Moeldoko.
Moeldoko also admits that he respects the founder of the Democratic party and the 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia Soesilo Bambang Yudhoyono.
"Who am I? What am I? Just ordinary. In the Democrats there is Pak SBY, there is a son, AHY, especially yesterday that he was chosen by acclamation. Why should I be afraid? Why do you have to respond like that? Just so-so. the dynamics in a political party are common, "said Moeldoko.
