Minister Of Finance Sri Mulyani Accompanied President Jokowi To Review IKN Infrastructure

Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani and a number of ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet accompanied President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to review the progress of the development of the Nusantara Capital City (IKN), North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan Province.

It was stated that the President and his entourage seemed to be enjoying the morning air while reviewing the views and progress of IKN development from the top of the hill today.

"From above, President Jokowi, wearing a white long-sleeved shirt, sees a number of infrastructures being built in the location of the new capital city, such as the State Palace and the Presidential Office," said a press release from the Ministry of Finance as reported on Friday, September 22.

The President also seemed to be talking hot while showing the view to a number of ministers who accompanied him at that time, namely the Minister of Finance, the Minister of PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono, the Minister of Investment/Head of BKPM Bahlil Lahadalia, and the Head of the IKN Authority Bambang Susantono.

The President and the ministers then walked to his place for the night to have breakfast with simple menus such as chicken porridge, uduk rice, and grilled bread.

To note, on the second day of visit to IKN, the President is scheduled to review the State Palace and install the first Garuda module. In addition, the Head of State will also lay the first stone for a number of infrastructures to be built at IKN.

In the afternoon, the President will witness the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Pertamina and the IKN Authority. The activities of the second day of the President will be closed by watching a music performance entitled 'Nusantara Appreciation Night'.
