Multivision Aims To Increase Profit By 30 Percent From Positive Entertainment Industry
JAKARTA - Film company PT Tripar Multivision Plus Tbk (RAAM) or MVP is pursuing a target of increasing operating profit by 30 percent year on year (yoy) in 2023. This is in line with the positive prospects of the entertainment industry.
"This will improve the performance of the distribution of MVP's creative content, and it is hoped that it will contribute to an increase in the gross profit of MVP by 30 percent (yoy)," said Founder of MVP Raam Punjabi quoting Antara, Thursday, September 20.
Raam said the company will become an exclusive partner with privileges as a broadcaster for various film creative content, soap operas, mini series, FTV and MVP's sitcom to be widely broadcast on the BTV network.
He said that MVP will participate in investing in the B-Universe, where the company is entering a new era as the Free-to-Air Broadcaster.
"MVP is also preparing to produce new soap operas and other interesting content that will exclusively be broadcast on BTV which is not only entertaining but can enrich the lives of Indonesians throughout the archipelago," said Raam.

In addition to producing films, soap operas and web series, through its subsidiary PT Platinum Sinema through the Platinum Cinemax brand, he said the company had established eleven cinema locations in Indonesia.
Meanwhile, the eleven locations include Solo, Magelang, Sidoarjo, Bitung, Baturaja, Palopo, Lahat, Ambon, Kolaka, Majenang and Kebumen, which regularly screen Indonesian, Hollywood, Bollywood and Asian films.
"In the future, the company plans to expand the development of this cinema business by opening Platinum Cinemax branches in other cities in Indonesia," said Raam.
