JAKARTA - The Indonesian contingent will continue their struggle at the 2023 Asian Games today, Thursday, September 21. The five sports that Indonesian athletes will participate in today are rowing, beach volleyball, cricket, indoor volleyball and football.
The five sports contested on Thursday, September 21 were both fierce. However, what will attract attention and it is certain that it will be hot is football and indoor volleyball.
In soccer, the U-24 Indonesian national team will play their second Group F match against Taiwan. This match will be held at Zhejiang Normal University East Stadium, Hangzhou starting at 15.00 WIB.
The match will be fierce because it is a decisive step for the U-24 national team to the knockout stages of the 2023 Asian Games. To be able to get a ticket to qualify for Indra Sjafri's squad, we must win.
So far, the U-24 national team has topped Group F with six points thanks to a 2-0 win over Kyrgyzstan in the inaugural match, last Tuesday 19 September. If they win over Taiwan, Garuda Nusantara will certainly qualify for the last 16 of the 2023 Asian Games because they are at least perched in the group runner-up position.

On the third matchday they had to fight Afghanistan at the Deqing Sport Center on Thursday, September 21 at 18.00 WIB. Victory over Afghanistan is a fixed price for Indonesia if they want to qualify for the next round.
