Review Of The 2023 Asian Games Indonesian U-24 Vs Taiwan National Team: The Garuda Troops' Golden Opportunities
JAKARTA The U-24 Indonesian national team will face Taiwan in the 2023 Asian Games Group F continued at Zhejiang Normal University East Stadium, Thursday, September 21 tomorrow. This match is a golden opportunity for Garuda Muda.
The U-24 national team can ensure that they qualify for the knockout stages of the Hangzhou 2023 Asian Games if they can beat Taiwan. Indonesia currently occupies the top position of the group standings after winning in the inaugural match against Kyrgyzstan. For that, Indra Sjafri's squad only needed one more victory to automatically qualify.
If able to add three points, Indonesia will at least finish the group stage as runners up. This position is enough for Indonesia to extend the journey.
On paper, Taiwan should not be a tough opponent for Indonesia. Before the clashes in this event, Garuda Troops had bulldozed the country 9-0 during the U-23 Asian Cup qualifiers.
Indonesia's condition is not ideal because it only has the power of 20 players from 22 names who are called up. However, getting the three points against Taiwan should not be a tough task with the existing player material.
"Yesterday we came with 15 players and today five players came. We only have 20 players because two of our players are still injured," said Indra after winning over Kyrgyzstan.

In Group F, only Indonesia and North Korea are seeded to qualify after the results they got in the inaugural match. Korea also has the potential to lock up tickets against Kyrgyzstan in the second match later.
If they both lock the victory, Indonesia and North Korea will collect six points each. Their position will not be overtaken by the two teams.
Indonesia and North Korea next just have to determine the position of group winner and runner up. The two positions will be confirmed when the two countries meet the final group stage match.
Predictions of the line-up:
Indonesian U-24 national team (4-3-3): Ernando Ari; Robi Darwis, Andy Setyo, Rizky Ridho, Haykal Al Hafiz; Rachmat Irianto, Syahrian Abimanyu, Muhammad Taufany; Ramai Rumakiek, Titan Agung, Egy Maulana.
