Hoax Corners PDIP, Garut Bawaslu Calls Reporting Tomorrow
Garut Regency Bawaslu has sent a letter to the reporter to carry out a clarification stage regarding the case of spreading hoaxes which are considered to corner the PDI-P (PDIP) and the presidential candidate.
"It has been registered, tomorrow (September 15) there is an agenda for the summons of the reporter to be asked for clarification," said Head of the Garut Regency Bawaslu Ahmad Nurul Syahid in Garut, West Java (West Java), Thursday, September 14, which was confiscated by Antara.
He said, Bawaslu Garut received a report from the Chairman of the PDIP DPC Yudha Puja Turnawan regarding the spread of false news in the form of videos that cornered political parties and one of the presidential candidates.
However, the report, he said, must of course go through the process for the evidentiary stage of the case report on the spread of hoaxes, one of which is by first calling the reporter and witness.
"Tomorrow the complainant and witness will be questioned by Bawaslu," he said.

He conveyed that after clarifying the reporter, the next stage asked for information from the reported party, who is one of the village-level electoral supervisory committees in Garut.
After going through the process, he continued, Bawaslu Garut held a plenary meeting to decide whether there was a violation or not, if it was proven a violation, the most severe sanction was that the person concerned was dismissed.
"The summons of the reported and Bawaslu plenary decided whether to violate or not. Such severe sanctions (dismissed)," he said.
Separately, the chairman of the PDI-P DPC Yudha Puja Turnawan stated that he had reported cases of alleged hoax and slander that were considered to have cornered political parties and candidates for president Ganjar Pranowo.
Yudha admitted that regarding the progress of the case report, he had received an invitation letter for clarification from the Garut Bawaslu which was scheduled for Friday, September 15.
"We have (received the invitation from Bawaslu) tomorrow," he said.
