Four Coordinating Ministrys Start Offices At IKN August 2024
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) through the Directorate General of Human Settlements revealed that four buildings of the Coordinating Ministry (Kemenko) in the State Capital or IKN Nusantara can be used in stages in August 2024.
"In August 2024, the Kemenko buildings in IKN can be used in stages," said Director General of Human Settlements Diana Kusumastuti, quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, September 9.
Diana said the construction of the four Kemenko buildings was completely completed in 2024.
The construction of the four Coordinating Ministry buildings applies the principles of Green Building Building Buildings and Smart Building Buildings.
The principles of Green Building Buildings such as energy and water efficiency, the use of environmentally friendly materials to wastewater and waste management effectively and efficiently.
Smart Building Building Principles such as smart building systems connected to the internet and standardized smart lockdown systems.
The construction of the Coordinating Ministry is the main means, which is the basic infrastructure built by the Ministry of PUPR.
As the main means, the four Kemenko buildings must be completed next year in order to support the initial transfer of the nation's capital from Jakarta to IKN Nusantara in East Kalimantan.
In 2022 - 2024 is the period for moving the initial stages of the nation's capital, including ASN to IKN Nusantara.
The celebration of the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia on August 17, 2024 at IKN Nusantara, East Kalimantan, became the starting point for the gradual transfer of the nation's capital city from DKI Jakarta to Nusantara.
IKN Nusantara is the capital city of Indonesia in the future, which is stipulated and regulated by Law Number 3 of 2022.
