DENPASAR - Head of the Bali Tourism Office (Dispar) Tjok Bagus Pemayun, responded to the virality of venting on a local tourist named Desi who was expelled by security officers at Geger Beach, Nusa Dua, Bali, because it was considered disturbing the view of hotel guests near the location.
Pemayun said that his party did not know the details of the chronology of the incident. However, according to the rules of the coastal Spatial Planning (RTRW), it is a public facility.
"It's clear that the beach according to the RTRW is for the public. There must be places for the public. This means that there must be a place for public access to the beach," Pemayun said, Thursday, September 7.
Dispar will coordinate with the Badung Tourism Office. He appealed to hotel business actors to provide access for the public to enjoy. beach.
"The first is indeed (pernah) an incident that was previously in Nusa Dua and has been resolved. Public places must have access to the public. That anyone can (go to the beach). Previously, a video circulated that went viral on social media about venting on local tourists who were allegedly evicted from the beach in the Nusa Dua area, South Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali.
The video was uploaded by the Instagram account @niluhjelantik which was taken from the TikTok account @desi.fu.
Desi stated that when she was going to bask on Geger Beach, a security guard approached her so she wouldn't be in the Geger Beach area and asked to move. Even though two weeks ago he had sunbathing at Geger Beach and it was not a problem. However, the video did not mention when it happened.
