Not Traumatized Horror Accident, Pecco Bagnaia Is Already Desperate To Race Again
JAKARTA - Ducati Lenovo's Francesco Bagnaia, looks impatient to start racing even though he just had a horror accident at the Barcelona MotoGP last weekend.
The racer who is familiarly called Pecco hopes that his condition will recover soon so he can take part in the race at the San Marino MotoGP, 8-10 September. His enthusiasm is growing because the race will be held at home, the Misano Circuit.
"It's hard for me to explain what happened. The accident was so strange and fortunately I wasn't seriously injured... Now we're going to do everything we can to try to get back on track for GP Misano next week," Bagnaia said, quoted from Ducati's official statement.
As is known, Bagnaia experienced a highside in the second corner of the first lap of the Barcelona MotoGP. He was thrown from his motorbike before falling on the asphalt.
Ironically, Valentino Rossi's student's leg was run over by KTM racer, Brad Binder, who could not avoid it. Surprisingly, Bagnaia did not suffer a severe injury such as a fracture.
The Italian racer only suffered a number of bruises, as confirmed by X-ray and CT scans. He also has a chance to play in the next series, as reported by Antara.
