His Name Was Dragged In The Case Of Marilyn Manson, Trent Reznor: It Was Fabrication, I Was Offended And Angry

JAKARTA - Member of Nine Inch Nails, Trent Reznor, was also involved in the sexual harassment case of Marlyn Manson. A Twitter user named Jude Ellison shared a snippet of Manson's words in the memoir The Long Hard Road Out of Hell.

The musician's 1998 memoir was re-discussed because of one of the passages in which Manson and Reznor abused a drunken woman in the 1990s.

This section of the book appeared on the internet as the case involving Manson. His former fiancé, Evan Rachel Wood, called Manson a sexual assault offender. Apart from Wood, several other women made similar claims.

Not standing still, Reznor responded to the tweet with a statement addressed to Pitchfork, “I've been vocal for years about my dislike for Manson and broke with him 25 years ago. As I said before, part of Manson's memoirs is a fabrication. I was offended and angry when it was released and it continues to this day".

That part of the story is the result of an interview with Empyrean Magazine for an issue in 1995 but never qualifies for the final result because it is considered not following the interview procedure.

Meanwhile, Manson dismisses all claims by Wood and several other women. He said, whatever he did on a consensual basis.

Since this statement was released, Manson has been removed from record label Loma Vista Recordings as well as removed from episodes of American Gods and Creepshow.
