Move On Already, AHY Congratulations To Anies-Cak Imin: Good Luck!

Chairman (Ketum) of the Democratic Party, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) stated that his party had moved on after the NasDem-PKB reached an agreement without involving the Democrats in carrying the duet of Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin in the 2024 presidential election.

"Today we, the family of the Democratic Party, are heartened, with humility, state that we move on and are ready to welcome good opportunities in front of us," said AHY at the DPP office of the Democratic Party, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Monday, September 4.

AHY revealed the reason he moved on quickly from Anies and the Change Coalition. Because he said, in the end this country is a big country and requires great thinking, great souls and great actions.

AHY reminded all cadres not to be trapped in narratives and issues that could divide fellow nation's children. "We don't know that in the future, we will probably meet again and collaborate on the big national agendas," he said.

The son of the 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia then congratulated the presidential and vice presidential candidates from NasDem and PKB, Anies-Cak Imin. "For that, I congratulate Mr. Anies Rasyid Baswedan and Mr. Muhaimin Iskandar who have just declared a pair of presidential and vice presidential candidates in the future. Good luck," added AHY.
