Juventus Mock, AC Milan Threatened With Fines
JAKARTA The FIGC prosecutor's office has reportedly opened an investigation into the AC Milan squad for singing the anti-Juventus song after their victory over AS Roma.
The Rossoneri beat the Giallorossi 2-1 at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday (2/9) in the morning WIB to continue the perfect start in the Italian Serie A season 2023-2024.
On the bus while returning to the airport, Rafael Leao recorded a video to be uploaded on social media showing AC Milan players celebrating their victory, singing several songs making fun of Juventus.
ANSA's report, as reported by Football Italia, FIGC prosecutor Giuseppe Chine decided to open an investigation into the anti-Juventus chant sung by the Milan squad after a win over Roma, by obtaining the video footage as evidence.
The investigation focused on possible violations of the pillars of loyalty, honesty and truth, as well as identifying responsible parties.
The video uploaded by Leao on social media went viral, causing anger from Juventus supporters, prompting the FIGC to open an investigation. Updates are expected in the coming weeks and AC Milan may be subject to fines as punishment.
