Taylor Swift Concert Film Beats Sales Of Marvel, DC, And Star Wars
JAKARTA - Taylor Swift's concert film: The Eras Tour has generated US$26 million or around Rp395 billion in just the first 24-hour sale, beating the pre-sale record for the first day of Spider-Man: No Way Home which earned US$16.9 million (Rp257 billion), and some of the top films from Marvel, DC, to Star Wars.
This fantastic figure, mentioned in the Deadline report, Friday (1/9), is only from one cinema network, namely AMC, which does not include several other US cinemas such as Regal, Harkins, and Cinemark.
This indicates that the numbers are much bigger. But realized, AMC represents the biggest footprint for theaters in Box Office with 568 locations.
AMC reported that less than three hours after the ticket to the concert film from the Karma singer went on sale, it had broken the 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' record.
