Ridwan Kamil: West Java Self-Sufficiency In Rice 1.3 Million Tons Per Year

West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil said the province he leads has succeeded in self-sufficiency in rice as much as 1.3 million tons per year.This was conveyed by Ridwan Kamil in a speech at the Kuningan DPRD Building, West Java, Friday, September 1."Although there are many investments and factories, West Java is still self-sufficient in rice 1.3 million tons per year. Because we add 60 thousand hectares of new harvest areas for five years. That's the enthusiasm of our rivals," said Ridwan Kamil as quoted by Antara.In addition, he also said that within five years the economy in West Java was also advanced through various infrastructure works carried out by the provincial government, one of which was the completion of the Cisumdawu Toll Road which connected the economy of the northern part of West Java with the central and southern parts."Why are we winning the economy? Because West Java's infrastructure for the last five years has been the most extraordinary. Nine toll roads are being built, 12 years old Cisumdawu was completed in our era, connecting the West Java economy to the north," he said.Ridwan Kamil added that his party is now planning the formation of 13 new industrial cities in West Java to ensure the creation of 4.5 million new jobs.The hope, he said, is that West Java's economic growth can increase by another two percent from the current condition which is quite good.
"One of the best economics on the island of Java is West Java, the highest investment in five consecutive years is West Java," he said.
