PSG Enters Hell Group in the Champions League, Marquinhos: Big Game Awaits Us

JAKARTA - Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are facing a steep road in pursuing their dream of winning the 2023/2024 Champions League trophy. The French club entered the group of hell in the initial phase.

Based on the results of the Champions League draw, Thursday, August 31, PSG are joined in Group F along with AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund and Newcastle United.

PSG captain, Marquinhos, admits his team is still in a tough group. He said, big game was waiting for them.

"They are a great opponent, with big matches waiting for us. They are an experienced team with top players who had great seasons last year," said Marquinhos.

"It's up to us to prepare as best we can, because the big games are coming soon," he continued.

However, Marquinhos claims his team is better prepared to face the Champions League this season. He said PSG had gotten stronger and implemented the coach's philosophy better.

"It will be an extraordinary atmosphere and it will motivate us even more to win. We also have extra strength in our supporters," he said.

"Our opponents know that it will be difficult for them to come and play at the Parc des Princes. Footballers always like big atmospheres and playing big matches, and that is part of the beauty of this sport," he concluded.
