Indonesia U-17 Vs South Korea U-17 National Team, Bima Sakti Aims For 2 Targets
JAKARTA The Indonesian U-17 National Team Coach, Bima Sakti, set a target of winning when his team tried out against South Korea U-17. In addition, Bima Sakti also wants to try the abilities of all players.
Garuda Muda troops will play a test match against Korea on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at 19.00 WIB. This is part of a series of preparations for the 2023 U-17 World Cup.
"Tomorrow we don't want to just win, but at least we'll see if what we've been training so far can be their apps and matches tomorrow," said Bima Sakti.
The U-17 Indonesian national team has been preparing for the U-17 World Cup since last July 10. Apart from Jakarta, they also train in Bali and Solo.
In that span of time, Bima Sakti's squad has undergone several trials, including two trials in Bali, each against Barcelona's youth Juvenil A and Kashima Antlers.
In addition, while in Solo, Garuda Muda troops also faced the local team Persis Solo U-17. Then another activity is selection in 12 cities to complete the desired composition of players.
Bima said that therefore, fighting Korea tomorrow is an opportunity to test all the players who are currently with the coaching team at the training camp.
"Then I also want to try all the players who are currently in TC because the most important thing is the World Cup later. Tomorrow in the first half we will try different players, then in the second half we will try all," he said.
