Completed For 72 Days, WIKA Handover Of JCC Project To The Ministry Of PUPR
JAKARTA - PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) carried out the handover of work or Provisional Hand Over (PHO) with the Ministry of PUPR on the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) Rehabilitation project located in the Gelora Bung Karno area, Jakarta.
The handover was carried out by the Senior Vice President of Building and Overseas Division of WIKA Muchamad Yusuf to the Official of the Signing of the PPK Contract for Building Arrangement I of the Jakarta Metropolitan Region Settlement Infrastructure Implementation Unit of the Ministry of PUPR Grace Christiani.
The project, which was built with a value of Rp. 115.9 billion as a place for the ASEAN Plus 2023 Summit in September, was renovated by displaying his new face which was thick with Indonesian cultural wealth. This handover also shows WIKA's success in working on the project in just 72 days.
WIKA President Director Agung Budi Waskito (BW) said that although the project was carried out in just 72 days, WIKA still paid attention to quality factors in the work.
"After this, WIKA will focus on maintenance as well as to ensure the quality and security of the building," he said in a written statement, on Tuesday, August 29.
In addition to completing the JCC rehabilitation project, WIKA has also completed the construction of the Aek Tano Ponggol Bridge in Samosir Regency, North Sumatra. The bridge was even inaugurated by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), on Friday, August 25.
The inauguration was carried out in conjunction with the inauguration of the Regional Drinking Water Supply System (SPAM) project in Medan-Binjai-Deli-Serdang.

In its construction, WIKA is trusted by the Ministry of PUPR to work on the bridge structure consisting of the Oprit, Main Bridge, and the Pendekatan Bridge which stretches along 465 meters (m) with a width of 12.5 m which has two vehicle lanes.
Agung Budi said the construction of this project also supports sustainability and raises Indonesia's cultural heritage in every ornament.
"This is reflected in the part of the Aek Tano Ponggol Main Bridge which is equipped with the Pylon Delihan Na Tolu ornament, which is an accessory adapted from the philosophical symbol of Batak community culture," he said.
