Drought Expands, 103 Thousand Residents Of Bogor Regency Have Clean Water Difficulties
BOGOR - Drought in Bogor Regency is widespread. Data from the Bogor Regency BPBD on Wednesday recorded that 19 sub-districts and 103 thousand residents were affected by this year's dry season.
"As of today, there are 19 sub-districts that experience drought and clean water left," said Head of Emergency BPBD Bogor Regency, M Adam to Radar Bogor, Thursday, August 24.
Adam explained that 19 sub-districts experienced a water crisis due to the drought were Tenjo, Jasinga, Sukajaya, Nanggung, Cibungbulang sub-districts.
Continuing in Leuwisadeng, Ciampea, Rancabungur, Cijeruk, Cisarua, Cigombong, Citeureup, Jonggol, Babakan Madang, Tanjungsari, Sukamamur, Ciseeng, Cariu, and Sukaraja sub-districts.
"The worst affected by drought in Bogor Regency is in the West and East regions of Bogor Regency," he explained.
Meanwhile, the number of residents of Bogor Regency who are experiencing a water crisis has now reached 103,567 people. They are spread across 64 villages in Bogor Regency.

"Clean water distributed to the community has reached 1,035,000 liters," he said.
He also appealed to villages that need clean water to contact BPBD. BPBD itself routinely sends clean water to a number of areas affected by the drought.
