Will Be Improved, The OSES WK Oil And Gas Installation Will Stop For A Time
JAKARTA - WK Migas OSES, which is a working area for the transfer of management due to the expiration of a cooperation contract between the Government of Indonesia and CNOOC Limited, will be carried out by fire. This is because 57 percent of the installation facilities are over 30 years old.
Director General of Oil and Gas of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Tutuka Ariadji, said that the massive turnover required the oil and gas installation to temporarily stop (Planned Shutdown).
"PHE OSES should think more than usual and unusual, so that during the repair process there will be no significant decrease in oil and gas production. Efforts are made so that the Planned Shutdown time is made as short as possible," Tutuka told the media, Monday, August 21.
Tutuka added that the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources through the Directorate General of Oil and Gas supports improvements and replacements in oil and gas installations that are damaged or have high risk.
"But what needs to be considered is so that there is no significant decrease in oil and gas production during the repair and replacement," continued Tutuka.
