TIP Task Force Arrest 901 Suspects Since Formed By The National Police Chief
JAKARTA - The National Police's Trafficking Crime Task Force (TPPO) continues to take action after the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo was formed on June 5. As a result, more than 900 people were arrested and named suspects.
"The number of suspects in the TIP case is 901 people," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, quoted on Tuesday, August 15.
The number of suspects in the TIP case is based on the results of the action taken by the Task Force at the Bareskrim level to the regional police ranks as of June 5 to August 14.
Then, from a series of disclosures of the TIP case, more than two thousand people were rescued.
"There were 757 police reports. The number of victims of TIP who were rescued was 2,425 people," he said.
