Short Circuit On Charging Attack That Causes TransJakarta Tendean Bus Stop To Burn

JAKARTA The burning of the TransJakarta bus stop on Jalan Kaptendean, Mampang, South Jakarta panicked road users who passed through the area. How not, the fire spread so quickly to various corners of the building.

South Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat) picket officer Triyanto said that currently it is still suspected that the cause of the fire was an electrical short circuit.

"The cause of the fire was due to a short circuit in the charging attack," Triyanto said in a short message, Monday, August 14.

Triyanto explained that the charging attack device emitted a fire and spread throughout the bus stop building.

Triyanto said that after receiving the news, he deployed 30 personnel and 7 units of the South Jakarta firefighters to extinguish the fire.

"When leaving at 17.43 WIB, the blackout started at 17.50 WIB, cooling down at 17.55 WIB. After the blackout at 18.23 WIB," he said.

Triyanto admitted that he did not know the amount of loss for the incident. However, he confirmed that there were no casualties in the incident.
