The Weeknd Closes Collaboration Doors To This Group Reunion
JAKARTA - The Weeknd closed the door of collaboration with other artists, at least for some time to come. This was conveyed by a singer whose real name is Abel Tesfaye in his latest concert in Warsaw.
Seelum sings the song Another One of Me, The Weeknd tells the audience that this song will be his last collaboration.
"And I just want to say this, this (song) is the last collaboration of my career, so I want to sing it up for you tonight," said The Weeknd.
On Friday, August 11, The Weeknd uploaded a video of his performance by adding, "Last collaboration... unless Daft Punk returns together."

The song Another One of Me that he will release is a collaboration song, but The Weeknd has not revealed who the artist is with.

So far, The Weeknd has collaborated a lot in songs such as Lana Del Rey, Future, FKA Twigs, Beyonce, and others. He has also recently been a collaborator of Travis Scott in K-pop songs and Mike Dean on the 4:23 album.
Previously, The Weeknd had revealed that his latest album would be the last album in which he used the stage name The Weeknd. He is considering using the name Abel Tesfaye for a career in the entertainment world.
Meanwhile, The Weeknd and Daft Punk have collaborated on the song I Feel it Coming which was included in the Starboy album.
On another occasion, The Weeknd said the duo was his favorite musician who influenced music.
"They are one of the reasons why I make music," said The Weeknd.
Daft Punk also chose to disband after 28 years of a joint career in February 2021.
