Rejang Lebong Regency Government Repairs Damaged Road To Bukit Kaba TWA
REJANG LEBONG - The Rejang Lebong Regency Government, Bengkulu Province, will immediately repair the road to the Bukit Kaba Nature Tourism Park (TWA) which was damaged.Head of the Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Rejang Lebong Rector Vande Armada said that his party in 2023 received a budget sourced from the Rejang Lebong APBD of Rp. 101 billion.These funds are divided into the field of marga development ranging from Rp70 billion and the rest for the manufacture of works, irrigation and settlements."The budget for repairing roads at the Bukit Kaba tourist attraction is combined with locations in the Kali Bandung Waterfall Tourism Village and garden views, the value of the package reaches Rp. 2 billion," he said in Rejang Lebong, Antara, Friday, August 11.Road repair activities at these tourist attractions cannot be carried out thoroughly due to the limited budget owned by the local government.Currently, the tour road repair package has been tendered and there has been a winner so that in the near future the work zero point can be carried out."The target is that this road can be passed by four-wheeled vehicles. For Bukit Kaba, there will be three points that will be repaired, especially in the cliffs and other points. Because the budget is limited so that it will be used as best as possible. We hope that in 2024 the repairs can be continued," he explained.Repairing the road to the tourist location is to provide comfort to visitors who will come to tourist sites, so that later it can increase local revenue (PAD).Head of the Rejang Lebong Tourism Office, M Budianto, said that in 2022 his party had proposed repairing roads to tourist attractions in the area, including roads in the Bukit Kaba TWA, then roads to the Belitar Seberang Waterfall tourist attraction, roads to the Batu Bekot Falls, roads to the tourist location of Bukit Wet and others.
He hopes that the repair and construction of roads to tourist sites will increase tourist visits to Rejang Lebong Regency.
