Fire In Tambora Successfully Extinguished, Owners Of Losses Reached Rp200 Million

JAKARTA - A fire in a resident's house on Jalan Pekojan Raya, RT 02/01, Pekojan Village, Tambora District, West Jakarta was successfully extinguished by West Jakarta Gulkarmat officers on Thursday, August 10, evening.

"Currently, the fire has been extinguished. We have deployed as many as 65 firefighters at the location," said Head of West Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Syafrudin when confirmed, Thursday, August 10, evening.

From the results of the data collection, the cause of the fire was an electrical short on the 2nd floor of the house. Then the fire spread and grew.

"The area burned is about 200 square meters. The owner of the house suffered a loss of Rp. 200 million," he said.

The house that caught fire was known to belong to a resident named Aad Assegaf (60). A total of 8 Heads (KK) consisting of 22 people were successfully evacuated.

There were no casualties or injuries as a result of the fire incident in this densely populated residential area. Meanwhile, the fire case was handled by the Tambora Police.
