Neta Officially Greets Indonesia Presents Pre-Booking To One Of Its Models
JAKARTA - Neta, an automotive brand from China, has officially made its mark on the Indonesian automotive market with attractive offers at the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) at ICE BSD, Tangerang.
Starting his debut in 2018, the company under the auspices of the electric vehicle manufacturer brandbolon Auto managed to build a strong reputation by expanding its scope to the global market the previous year.
Neta's presence is in line with the Indonesian government's initiative to encourage environmentally friendly vehicles. With this view, Neta also paved the way for exploration and provision of electric vehicles that use cutting-edge technology, it is hoped that it will gain popularity among the people of Indonesia.
Wang Chengjie, as President Director of PT Neta Auto Indonesia, explained that the key to the establishment of this company is the development of innovation and smart technology that will be applied to the ranks of electric vehicles according to the needs of the community.
"In addition, currently NETA is also establishing partnerships with five internationally recognized companies in various business sectors to maximize our potential products and services," Wang said in his statement, today, Thursday, August 10.
Neta started her steps in Indonesia by opening a pre-booking period during GIIAS 2023 and planning to assemble local vehicles in the second quarter of 2024.
Booth Neta at GIIAS 2023 is at Hall 8 ICE BSD, Tangerang. Neta introduces three lines of its products and offers special offers for consumers who pre-book for the Neta V electric sedan model.
Recently, PT Neta Auto Indonesia also formed a partnership with PT Handal Indonesia Motor (HIM) to assemble electric vehicles in Indonesia.
The plan is that Neta and HIM will start the process of assembling electric vehicles in Indonesia in the second quarter of 2024. This agreement is contained in a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed on July 26.
However, Neta's involvement does not stop there. They will also cooperate with several domestic companies to contribute to the development of the Indonesian automotive industry.

Neta's presence in Indonesia is in line with the company's global plan to expand its market share. Currently, Horon Auto is building a factory facility in Bangkok, Thailand, which is expected to be operational by the end of January 2024.
Neta herself is not a new player in the global automotive industry, with significant sales growth from year to year. In 2022, Neta managed to sell 152,073 units of vehicles worldwide, experiencing a sharp spike compared to the sales figure in 2021 which reached 69,674 units.
